Fake!

The Fake! board game is a tool to promote critical, conscious, and active media literacy among young people. It can be played in youth groups or in schools.
The board game helps young people reflect on the role and purpose of journalism, as well as the importance of reliable information as part of a democratic society. It also raises awareness of the significance of trustworthy information in a digitalized world and in a time when artificial intelligence is becoming increasingly widespread.

Ingrid Svanfeldt has produced and developed the idea for the media board game and toured with the game, together with a short media education program, in various locations in Swedish-speaking Finland during autumn 2024 and spring 2025.
